INDECISION

Like any computer-net addict, I looked it up on Google. A wavering between two or more possible courses of action’ , irresolution…Synonyms: Hesitance, wobbling… and more words followed, that perfectly describe infinite moments/instances in our lives where we are not only lost but quite habituated to the feeling.

But if we take a closer look at ‘Indecision’ we would certainly know that it cannot be classified as Black or White. Its Grey.

Indecision (when taken in prescribed proportions :) ) )helps us look at things in more perspectives than one; understand the dynamics of our future choices, Past lessons and what we are capable of Today. It is a necessary step in Decision Making. May it be about wearing the right outfit to office or undergo a huge paradigm shift professionally or personally. It does make our brains to sprint; our hearts to race.

However indecision is a step which is not linear but spiral. If you seek comfort in this emotion (yes I would count it as an emotion) it surrounds you and like a good piece of music takes over your logical self. Encapsulating you in a world where decision making moves farther away; it defeats its own purpose and reason for existence. Like many universal ironies.

If one delves deeper, we would come to realize that the power to Reason manifests itself not only in the form of intelligence, logic and pragmatism but also in the step-child forms like indecision, confusion and frustration. The power to reason lets us accept and simultaneously reject the various aspects it encompasses.

We are all, however a victim of the complete package.
